Anyone who knows me, knows the highlight of footy/netty season for me is the canteens soup.
I live for it. Infact, im pretty sure that it's probably the most substantial thing I eat for entire season 🤣.
Its also so important that we rally and support our local club canteens.
Its how they fund new equipment, upgrades to venues and events for their communities during the year.

Since im visiting so my clubs this year, I wanted to give them all a shout out, and pop them in order starting from my absolute favourite of the season.

1 - So far at number 1 is the soup at Southern Flinders Football and Netball Clubs - Wirrabara. I believe its bacon bone and vegetables (someone please correct me if im wrong). If anyone can tell me who makes it, and how I go about getting 10L made to drop into my freezer, ill be incredibly happy 🤣🤣🤣

2 - Orroroo Football Club - Thai Chicken - Delish, it was a flavour combo I didnt realise I needed

3 - Southern Flinders - Laura - Minestrone - Minestrone would have to be the most underrated soup ever, and this one, whoever made it, nailed it👌👌👌

4 - BSR Tigers Football and Netball Club - Potato & Leek? Forgot to ask what flavour it was exactly, but I remember it being super tasty, and consider how cold it was in Spalding that weekend, i was greatful for it.

5 - BMWFC - Melrose - Pumpkin Soup - All the right flavours of pumpkin soup, but pumpkin soup just isnt my favourite, having said that, I still went back for a second one after lunch 🤷‍♀️🤣

Crystal Brook Football Club - Nutrien Cup - Saturday 6th June 2026

I am so incredibly blessed to have such an amazing team.
These ladies are the whole reason I am able to step away from the van for a weekend and not have to choose between work & family, and for that I am beyond greatful.

While I am away in Port Lincoln for my eldest daughters gymnastics competition (and some much needed down time) Ari & Tracy will be running the van in Crystal Brook.

Please remember to be patient & kind while they navigate, what will no doubt be and incredibly busy day.

I will see you all back at the van on the 13th for the Southern Flinders Football and Netball Clubs Laura Game.
