Its the 1st of October this is my 2 cents on card fees:
**finally** removing card fees from my prices. I mean, it’s about time, right? My customers deserve to feel like they’re not being charged extra for the privilege of paying me!

But, surprise, surprise—us small businesses are still stuck with these pesky fees. It’s like a bad breakup; no matter how hard you try, they just won’t go away.

Now, here’s the kicker: This little venture has been thriving for six glorious years without cranking up the prices. I know, I know, we deserve a medal for that! 💪 But don’t worry, I’m not about to suddenly gouge you at the register.
Nope! My prices will still be in line with the current prices of goods because, believe it or not, I care about more than just my bottom line—service is just as important as the gourmet delicacies I sell.

So, buckle up, folks! You will be getting the best service at the best price, and I’m just here trying to keep this ship afloat without turning into a price-gouging pirate. 🏴‍☠️

Update: Just found out as of end of November 2026 the ATO will no longer allow businesses or anyone for that matter to pay their GST or any debt via a credit card ....
Why?????? They do not want to foot the card fee bill themselves and yet we have to 🤬🤬🤬

One minute, you're envisioning gourmet menus, and the next, you're elbow-deep in flooring, wondering why you didn’t just stick to a kitchen. Just remember, every time you find a hidden grease stain, it's like the truck’s way of reminding you that it’s got character! Who knew food trucks came with their own “before” and “after” stories?
when I bought second-hand, I had no idea it would turn into a non payong full-time job! Seriously, the cleaning has practically turned my fingers into the world's tiniest exfoliating scrubbers. My bank account is throwing a tantrum, and my husband has developed a talent for eye-rolling that could win awards. Oh, let me tell you, no one is more eager to rejoin the workforce than I am. I mean, who wouldn't want the thrill of a 11-to-7 job instead of wrestling with the home improvement world? Seriously, it's like trying to train a cat to fetch—utterly pointless and likely to end in chaos.

So there I was, thinking I could lay some lino. How hard could it be? It’s just a piece of flooring, right? Well, with my glorious menopausal brain in full overdrive, it turned into a construction horror show. I swear, my thoughts were like a bad sitcom: one minute I’m channeling Bob the Builder, and the next, I’m knee-deep in a survivor island.

Round two? Oh, you bet! Because nothing screams “expert” like failing at the simplest of tasks. If I wanted to live with checker plate flooring, I'd have just set up a factory in my trailer. But no, I insist on getting everything “just right.” Because who doesn't love a good floor drama?

And here I am, appliances lined up like eager contestants on a game show, just waiting for their moment to shine. All I need is a flat floor, and we'll have a gourmet cooking show in no time! Just as soon as I figure out how to not turn my trailer into a war zone.

1 Yr today I gave you the sad news our trusty truck was on fire and we lost her, it was extremely devastating, and i was hoping to have news of my new shop to bring today unfortunately im unable to afford that idea so ........

I BROUGHT A FOOD TRAILER!!!

She is just about ready with only a couple of adjustments to be made, so please be patient just a little longer while I get her ready.
