Thursday 20th is Daffodil day , a major fundraiser day for the Cancer Council . 🌼🌼🌼
So many of us have experienced the impact on love ones or someone close to us is dealing with cancer in their life .
My contribution to this day is motivated by my personal loss, but also many of my friends that have been impacted in the past and some that are dealing with it currently.

I’m doing what I can, baking cookies and combined it with a sweet daffodil as a fundraiser for daffodil day, available in store on the 20th which is this Thursday . All proceeds will be donated to the Cancer Council of Victoria .

Spring is around the corner, and we know things get busy . We are looking to add an experienced person to our close knit team .
Saturdays required but no Sunday .

We are also looking for junior or possibly a school leaver that would like to learn valuable skills who is available Friday night and Saturdays .

So … next week has been scheduled months ago for a holidays week for the staff . ( that’s was before we knew we had to close when they were all sick .🙀😌🤗 Things are booked and hence we will be closed next week .
We will be reopening on Tuesday 4 th
We know you will miss us , our coffee and fabulous food. After this break it’s all go .. new ideas , new menu and a return to Saturday trading from the start of September .

What a week it has been. Started strong and busy as we did the recovery catering for Mr & Mrs Fay wedding , the brief was casual , no fuss food , I think we nailed it ..
But then the next morning 6.30 am , last day of the financial year all my staff were sick , so we couldn’t open , which then grew to the next three days . But alas I used the time(15 hrs to do stocktake . Time well spent , but then I accidentally dropped my computer and there went my stocktake 😭😭😭.

Well let’s change course to some positives tomorrow , ……WE WILL BE OPEN !!! …..From 7 am till 3 ( not 4 ) have to look after my staff .

Our Pork belly Benedict has become quite a hit . Such a tasty combination .

Tomorrow is our last Saturday for a little while as we transition to winter trading hours .
From after the long weekend we will be opening Monday to Friday and closed weekends totally .
Don’t worry it’s just for the winter months .

🩷Breakfast Saturday morning 🩷🩷🩷. Our regulars are loving our new 🌿Pork Belly Benedict and the🌿 Benedict bagels has become a staple . Goodness the list goes on , our unusual 🌿crumbed eggs “ our 🌿breakfast pizza , or our gluten free 🌿Bruffin . Plus Lyn freshly baked 🌿apple scrolls , take one home for the next day , they are just as good toasted .
Breakfast is never dull at The Larder ! 🌿🌿🌿🌿
