Demonstrations at Burdekin Craft Spectacular Markets on Saturday 29th November

9.30 am: Christmas Patchwork and Craft Items
(in the Bar Area inside the hall)
Christmas Trunk Show by Ros (with Ros Leadbetter)

9.30am: Diamond Art Custom Painting Tips & Tricks (with Josephine Edgerton)
How to go about getting a personal photo of any theme made into a custom diamond painting.

10.15am: Assigned Pooling for knitters and crocheters. (with Sue Sandeman)
A knitting technique that uses a special variegated yarn to create intentional patterns by assigning specific stitch patterns to specific colours. Specialty yarn dyed for this knit/ crochet technique will be available for purchase ___________________________________________________________________
11.00am:
How to make a Floral Halo for a Child (with Bernadette Russell)
Step by step techniques to complete a floral halo with artificial flowers, bows & decorations _______________________________________________________
11.45pm: Make your own Scrapbooking Christmas tags Burdekin Artisans - (With Billie Lee)
Kits will be available for purchase

12.30pm: Burdekin Potters Demonstration (with Debbie Ferraris)
Handmaking clay piece / underglaze decoration

Apologies from our little committee but we have decided we will not be able to have a market in May.
Also the date in November is Saturday 29th NOT Sun 30th as I mistakenly posted.
Hopefully we will see you all on Saturday 29th November.

Well, that's a pretty positive response to a May 24th Spectacular. We will decide and let you all know mid next week. Watch this space, though if we have your email, we will be in touch.

We at the Burdekin Uniting Church have been having a think, and realising the weather has caused cancellation of many markets. we are thinking of running our Craft Spectacular on the 24th May as well as the 30th Nov.
This will depend on if our stall holders want this.
If you are a stall holder and you are interested and prepared to respond quickly, please email [email protected] with your thoughts.
