Lilac blooming season 🪻

We sold out of bao buns quite early last Saturday, so I’m prepping a few more this week.

First batch done and they came out beautifully. Always makes me a happy lady. 😊

If any of you Bao lovers would like a Bao Lady sticker, just ask us at the stall or send me a message.

And I still haven’t ditched the dream of making proper Bao Lady caps and T-shirts one day, haha. That would be so cool! 😎❤️

A little sunshine capture from yesterday’s market 🌞

Perfect weather, lots of smiles, and such a lovely Saturday at Salamanca Market yesterday.

One of our longtime customers, Matt, said, “I’ve been having your bao for ten years now.” And it’s true! But somehow, every time I hear something like that, it still surprises me all over again.

Then I realised there were a few other very familiar faces yesterday who have also been coming to Bao Lady for around ten years. S & P, Andrea… haha. It really made me think about how special it is to have customers who have kept coming back and supporting Bao Lady for so many years.

And Kevin, thank you for noticing our new signage. Such a small change, but such a big compliment.

Every Saturday reminds me how much I appreciate all the love and support you give Bao Lady. 🙏🏼❤️

How are your daffodils going? 🌼

I love these beautiful flowers popping up through the chilly weather to announce that spring is here.

We’re back Salamanca Market this Saturday. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Welcome home, Uncle Bao, after a two-week motorbike trip through the Outback.🏍🎉

His love for dirt bikes and mountain bikes goes way back. I love that he’s never put the things he loves into the “used to” category.

What’s next? Plenty of gardening and beekeeping! 🧑‍🌾 🐝💚

This Saturday is the last day for our Apple Honey Lemonade.

We’ve used up all of Uncle Bao Honey from Lake Gordon, and the late spring harvest is still a little while away.

If you haven’t tried this one yet, this Saturday is your chance. We’ve been so happily surprised by how many people have loved this special little drink and by all the beautiful, genuine feedback we’ve received.

See you Saturday Salamanca Market . 😍
