Art Deco building, the Astor Grill is an iconic Hobart restaurant. The two elegant dining rooms still retain Art Deco style with a modern touch. European born, having worked in some of the best restaurants and hotels around the world gathering a vast knowledge and enjoyment of food and wine along the way. Rocky brings all that experience together with the belief that good food starts with the best produce and a commitment to friendly and professional service. The Astor Grill is a dining experience to remember. Open for dinner Tue - Sat, from 5:30pm, and lunch Wed - Fri, from 12:00pm. Bookings are essential. When booking via email, please provide a booking name, a contact phone number for confirming your booking, an approximate time of arrival and the number of guests attending.

Seasons greetings !

We’d like to thank everyone for joining us on this advent-ture. It’s been a joy for us to share more of our food and connect with our patrons on social media better than ever before. It is YOU that have helped us support and share our local Tasmanian produce this Christmas, and that is a partnership that is sacred to the Astor grill.

We have contacted our winner and congratulations to them. $150 voucher will be waiting under the tree 😁. We have exciting plans for the new year with more adventures to come, so this won’t be the last time we do something special.

La cantara tom al vino (smithton, tas)
