A very special 80th birthday cake - filled with layers of our fluffy GF Vanilla cake, house made lemon curd and vanilla bean frosting. This beast of a cake was 7.5kg! Pretty hefty for a delicate little cake.

Finished with stunning peach/pale pink tones and lots of incredible flowers. 💐

We have 11 - 12 weeks left for you to experience a C&G gluten free cake. So if you're wanting to celebrate a special occasion or simply just have our cake, NOW is the time to get your booking in.

With the closure of Champagne & Gumboots coming up far quicker than even I thought, the number one question I get asked daily (outside of but whyyyyyyy?!) is “What am I, (Stacey) going to do next?”

Its surprising to me how many people have an issue with me saying.....

…..……I don’t know....……

And here’s the truth. I actually don’t know the answer.

The next phase of C&G is unknown, but in a bid to figure it out and share that journey with you I've started a ! You can check out my first (albeit short) post where I talk about the issue people seem to have with my plan to wander aimlessly for a minute.

🥖✨ If you’re gluten free and haven’t visited yet... add it to your list! Especially since we’ll be closed in just a few more months and you’ll need somewhere to stop by.

I recently spent some time with my good friend Susan at one of my favourite gluten free bakeries in Perth, and it was the perfect excuse to slow down with a tea and enjoy all the incredible things they have to offer.

From beautiful artisan breads and fresh baked pastries to their famous cinnamon scrolls and cabinet full of sweet treats, there’s something for everyone. It’s the kind of place where you walk in wanting one thing and leave wishing you’d bought one of everything! 🤭

It’s always so inspiring to see what Susan and the team come up with. If you’ve been around more than a hot minute you’ll know that we started our businesses at the same time and became quick friends, often even attending markets and the GF Expo (back in the day) side by side. While I might be retiring from the biz soon, you’ll still be able to stock up on Panna’s insane gluten free treats.

If you’re in Perth and haven’t been yet, it’s absolutely worth the visit. 💛 Supporting small handmade gluten free businesses now is the only way they’ll survive!
