At the heart of Mineral Springs Hotel is our original Art Deco building, where every stay begins and ends. Choosing a Heritage Room means staying on the first floor of this beautifully restored 1930s hotel, just steps from the Lounge, Argus Dining Room, The Arches and the Library.�
Each Heritage Room has its own individual character and unique layout, with some featuring balconies overlooking either the gardens or the front of the property.�
Many of our regular guests have a favourite room "upstairs". Whether it's a particular view, a cosy corner or simply the feeling of familiarity, we always do our best to welcome them back to the room they've come to love.�

Winter exploring...

The days may be cool, but winter is one of the most beautiful times to discover the landscapes surrounding Hepburn Springs. From your base at the Mineral Springs Hotel, you’ll find waterfalls, mineral springs, forests and walking trails all within easy reach.

Sailors Falls (15-minute drive)
One of the region’s most picturesque waterfalls, with a short loop walk winding through a lush fern-filled valley before climbing to the ridge above. Don’t miss one of the area’s most popular mineral springs while you’re there.

La Gerche Forest Walk, Creswick (25-minute drive)
A peaceful 2km stroll through magnificent oak trees and other European plantings dating back to the 1860s. In the cooler months, the forest floor transforms into a mushroom wonderland.

Hepburn Regional Park (10-minute walk)
Step straight into nature with an extensive network of bushwalks. We especially recommend the Nyarna Djerri Wurrung (Argyle Spring Walk), beginning at the Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve, where the culture and Country of the Dja Dja Wurrung (Djaara) People is celebrated. 

Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve (5-minute walk)
A short stroll from the hotel, this historic reserve offers serenity and mineral water tastings from several springs, protected from mining in gold rush era. 

After a day outdoors, return to a well-deserved restorative soak at the Mineral Spa and dinner in the Argus Dining Room - the perfect way to embrace winter in Spa Country.
