Our Black Sheep regular Ollie Cocking is running the Melbourne Marathon to raise money for cancer research, a cause very close to his heart.

This Friday from 6–9pm, we’re firing up the BBQ to help him out.

The Black Sheep is supplying the sausages, Ollie’s on the sizzle, and it’s PAY WHAT YOU WANT. Every dollar raised goes directly to Ollie’s chosen cancer charity.

Come down, grab a snag, have a b**r and get behind a bloody good bloke doing a bloody good thing. ❤️

WHAT. A. GAME. WHAT. A. CROWD. 🏉🍻🐑

And it’s STILL NOT OVER! Coming right down to the final minutes and the Sheep is absolutely heaving.

Couldn’t have wished for a better Grand Final day. Packed bar, cracking atmosphere, plenty of b**rs flowing and everyone having an absolute ripper of a time.

A massive THANK YOU to Two Brothers Brewing and Domain W**e Cellars for supplying the drinks today. Legends. 🍺🍷

And an even bigger thanks to everyone who packed into The Black Sheep and made today what it was.

Whatever happens from here… this has been one hell of a Grand Final Day.

🍷🐑 THE SECOND ANNUAL BLACK SHEEP W**E TOUR IS IN EFFECT! 🐑🍷

And just quietly… these are three of the best-looking beards you’re ever gonna see. 🧔🍷🔥

The flock is loose and we’re heading for the vines! 🚌💨🍇

Today’s highly important viticultural research takes us to:

🍷 Tegalent
🍇 Tallarida
🍺 St Andrew’s Beach Brewing
🥂 Port Phillip Estate W**ery

Big reds, crisp whites, cold b**rs and increasingly creative tasting notes as the day rolls on. 🍒🍑🍓🍇

We’re swirling. We’re sniffing. We’re sipping. And by stop number four, everything will have “excellent mouthfeel” and somebody will be detecting hints of leather, blackberry and poor decision-making. 😂

Second Annual Black Sheep W**e Tour 2026.

Supporting Victorian producers one glass at a time. Tough job, but the beards are up to it. 🐑🍷

🍺 TWO FRESH BEERS JUST HIT THE TAPS! 🍺

We’ve gone big, bold and hoppy with a couple of cracking Victorian brews:

🐄 Bonehead Brewing – Creamy As! NZ Oat Cream IPA | 6.5%
Soft, creamy, juicy and loaded with NZ hop goodness. Dangerously easy drinking for 6.5%.

🏜️ Banks Brewing – Big Country West Coast IPA | 6.5%
Proper West Coast territory. Hoppy, punchy and crisp with that classic bitter finish. No haze required.

Two IPAs. Both 6.5%. Two very different beasts.

Fresh on tap NOW at The Black Sheep Hawthorn. 🍻🐑

🍷 NEW W**E JUST LANDED

Fresh delivery today and straight onto the list at The Black Sheep.

Tellurian Estate EVO Shiraz 2024
Heathcote Shiraz doing what Heathcote does best. Rich dark fruit, plum and blackberry, a touch of spice and pepper, with lovely soft tannins. Big enough to have some swagger, but smooth enough to disappear from the glass rather quickly.

🍷 $16 a glass
🍾 $58 a bottle

We’ve given it the appropriate quality-control test. Can confirm: bloody delicious.

Come in, grab a glass and tell us what you reckon.

When your friends become family, birthdays deserve a little extra sparkle. 🥂🦪❤️

A very Happy Birthday to Christine, one of the Black Sheep family and one of our absolute favourites.

So how do you celebrate properly? Oysters, bubbles, great friends and plenty of laughs. Not a bad way to spend a birthday afternoon!

Happy Birthday, Christine. Here’s to another lap around the sun and many more oysters along the way. 🥳🥂
