💗 Gympie, you’ve shown us so much love!

After the break-in at Mama Dee’s on Wednesday morning, we’ve been overwhelmed by the kindness and support from our wonderful community. Your messages, visits and encouragement have meant the world to our family. Thank you for standing by us. 💗

Now we’re getting ready for Gold Rush on 17 October! ⛏️✨ Our Gold Rush window displays are coming together, and we’re hoping to have them finished by Saturday morning.

Come into town, visit Mama Dee’s and take a closer look at our Gold Rush windows! See what you can spot, enjoy the displays and celebrate this special Gympie tradition with us. 🍩👀

We can’t wait to welcome you!

With love and thanks,
Emily, Bernie and The Mama Dee’s team 💗

Unfortunately, Mama Dee’s had a break and enter early this morning.

It’s certainly not the way we wanted to start our day, but we want to let everyone know that we are still OPEN and trading as normal today. 💗

A huge thank you to everyone who has already reached out and checked in on us. We really appreciate the support from our wonderful community.

Please come in, grab a coffee, a donut or some breakfast and help us turn a rough start into a much better day. 🍩☕️

🏆 WE WON! GRACE & RESILIENCE AWARD 2026 🩷
I am incredibly honoured and humbled to have received the Grace & Resilience Award at the Gympie Women in Business Awards.

The last couple of years have certainly taken our family on a journey I never expected, with plenty of challenges, changes and moments where we simply had to keep putting one foot in front of the other. To now be recognised with an award for Grace & Resilience means more to me than I can really put into words.

A huge thank you to Gympie Women in Business and She Is for creating an event that celebrates and encourages women in our community, and a very special thank you to Valley Gold Honey for sponsoring the Grace & Resilience Award. 🩷

Mama Dee’s is the beginning of another chapter for our family, and we are so grateful for the support Gympie has already shown us.

If you haven’t visited us yet, we’d love to welcome you through the doors! And remember — we’re much more than donuts! 🍩☕🥪🥗🍰🥧

We have fresh sandwiches, salads, cakes, pies, sausage rolls, coffee and, of course, our Mama Dee’s donuts. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast, morning tea, lunch or something sweet, come in, say hello and enjoy our little shop with us.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, my family and Mama Dee’s Donuts & Sangas. This award will have a very special place in our shop — and in my heart. 🩷
