Abuela’s Pupuseria

Abuela’s Pupuseria Pupusas in Melbourne! Pre-order only. At Abuela’s Pupuseria, we bring the warmth and tradition of Salvadoran cuisine to every bite.

Our family-owned and operated eatery is inspired by our abuela’s timeless recipes, crafted with love and authenticity. Every pupusa is made by hand, using only the freshest ingredients, just as Abuela taught us. We pride ourselves on delivering a taste of home with each dish, from the traditional curtido (cabbage slaw) to our flavourful fillings. Whether you're new to pupusas or a long-time fan, join us for a meal that’s more than food — it's a celebration of family, culture, and the joy of gathering together.

Salvadoran Quesadilla 😍

It’s a rich, buttery cheese cake made with authentic hard cheese, giving it a perfectly balanced sweet and salty flavour. Soft, fluffy, and baked until golden, it’s the kind of treat you’ll keep coming back for.

Perfect with your morning coffee, an afternoon pick-me-up, or as a delicious dessert 🤤

One bite, and you’ll understand why it’s one of El Salvador’s most beloved traditional baked goods 🇸🇻

Did you know? 🫓

Pupusas are supposed to be eaten with a fork and knife. That way you don’t get your hands dirty and you can eat it like a steak.

LOL — Pupusas are meant to be eaten with your hands — you feel the warmth, catch the filling, and scoop up the Curtido and salsa properly. A fork and knife just… gets in the way 😂✨

Pre-orders now open! Our next pupuseria date is Sunay 24th May.

Feel free to message us if you have any questions ✨
