The concept and brand name – 5 Boroughs is owned and was created by us, Todd and Marisa Clayton, in 2014. We have wealth of knowledge in food retail and franchising both nationally and internationally, and our experience has been integral in growing the brand to where it is today.
5 Boroughs is your neighborhood full table service restaurant and bar inspired by the tastes of New York. Since 2015 we have been serving up hand crafted burgers, NY style sandwiches, wings, tacos, waffle fries, steaks and pork ribs with a full cocktail and bar menu delivered to you in a lively atmosphere leaving you in that New York state of mind. In March 2015, we opened the first 5 Boroughs restaurant in Stones Corner, followed by the second location March 2016, in Racecourse Rd, Ascot. The 3 rd Location - May 2018, in Balmoral and the 4 th - July 2018 in Rosalie Village (Paddington). The next location and 5 th restaurant opened in June 2019 in a new Brisbane restaurant precinct (Park Lane) in the suburb of Everton Park and now our 6 th restaurant will open in Nov 2020 in Chatswood Central, Springwood. A borough is an urban community that is self-governed; there are 5 Boroughs of New York - Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens and The Bronx. These boroughs represent a cross section of multi-cultural food reflected in our menus
Since 2015 our chefs have been designing menus inspired by the melting pot of flavours across NYC Using the freshest possible ingredients, creating in house recipes and slow smoking our pork and brisket. We handcraft our burgers using preservative free, signature Angus Beef cuts, fresh never frozen, SMASHED on our grill, seasoned and caramelised to perfection using American cheddar cheese and Brooklyn Pickles served up on our butter toasted buns. The restaurants are open 11am until late. UberEats may operate delivery in some restaurants. We are more than just a burger Joint! “Brooklyn L***r”, also serving up Classic NYC Cocktails and the infamous Espresso Martini all day/every day for a special price. House made Bottomless Iced Tea and Lemonade are a signature and the regionally selected wines are offered in a lively casual bar environment, with live televised sports and a New York Times happy hour running from 4pm-6pm every day.
