GOODBYE 🤍
After 11 unforgettable years, I’m closing the doors to Tap & Grind Café. Even writing this still doesn’t feel real. What started as a dream when I was just 20 years old became the biggest chapter of my life. One that shaped me, grew me, challenged me, and filled my heart in ways I could never have imagined.
To every single team member who walked through these doors to work beside me - thank you. You weren’t just staff… you were my people. You helped build T&G into what it became. I’ve laughed with you, cried with you, celebrated wins and pushed through the tough days and tougher seasons including a pandemic. I’ve formed friendships and lifelong bonds that I’ll forever hold close. I truly consider myself lucky to have known each of you.
My mangers - I have no words, you’ve been my rock. There aren’t enough ways that I could show my love and gratitude for you 🤍
To our customers… my goodness, where do I begin? We would never have made it to 11 years without your support. Every coffee wasn’t simply a transaction, it was a moment of connection. A chance to get to know you & your story. And somehow… a little café became a community, and that community became a family. If you ever walked into Tap & Grind, thank you.
You’re part of my story forever.
To our suppliers, thanks for being part of this journey, for showing up and supporting us through all seasons.
I have loved this chapter with every part of me. These walls hold memories of growth, chaos, laughter, tears, early mornings, late nights, and countless faces I’ll never forget. Closing this chapter is extremely bittersweet… but it’s time. Time to breathe, to reset, to soak up moments with my baby girl, and to savour long overdue family time.
Thank you, from the deepest part of my heart, for 11 years of love.
With love always,‘Mrs Boss Lady’ ‘Nessy’ ‘Mumma T&G’
