All our team have tested negative and are so exited to once again see all your smiling faces.

UPDATE:
Our amazing team have all returned a NEGATIVE result and we can't wait to be back. We just have one more test as advised by QLD Health in a few days. A massive THANKYOU to all the support we have been receiving.
As anyone could imagine, giving away the amount of food we did was absolutely heartbreaking and a huge loss for our business, so at this time we really...really appreciate the support from our community.
We will keep you updated, but we will be able to open Haig Street Cafe and Restaurant Kirra on Tuesday 12th October.
Kirramisu will unfortunately remain temporarily closed due to the border closure.

Thankyou all again and we can't wait to see you very soon. x

UPDATE:
Just want to say a huge thankyou to all the messages and support at this time.
We've had BOTH Haig Street Cafe and Restaurant Kirra & Kirramisu deep cleaned.
It looks like we won't be re-opening until atleast 11th October at this stage due 14 of our 17 staff members (3 remaining are staff members from across the border) now being tested and self-isolating. This has been such an emotional time & loss for our team but we will keep you updated as much as we can.
On another note though, if you knew Kirramisu couldn't have been deemed an exposure site when it is closed, you'd be correct. It is in fact temporarily closed(thanks to the border closure).
This caused a great deal of confusion for all involved, including the Premier that apparently visited Kirramisu this week. So due to the mix up we decided we'd deep clean as a precaution across the two venues.
Atleast Annastacia knows where the best coffee in Kirra is...or does she?🤣😂🤣

To all our amazing community, unfortunately Kirramisu & Haig St were identified as a venue a confirmed covid case attended. We are waiting for further instruction from QLD Health however the times confirmed by the customer are:
Sunday 26th September - 8am - 9.25am
Monday 27th September - 7:30am - 7:55am
Tuesday 28th September - 7:25am - 7:55am
We have ofcourse, taken action ourselves to complete a deep clean of the venues and instructed all our staff to be tested and self-isolate until they receive a negative result or QLD advise otherwise.
We can assure our beautiful customers that we have been maintaining very high standards in accordance of Covid policies so we are hoping everything will be back to normal before we know it.
Heartbreakingly, we simply can't open & will remain closed until further notice. This is such a loss in so many ways as food now will be wasted & staff loose hours.

So we ask that please, when we do open again, pop in & give us a smile.

The health & safety of you all mean more to us than anything & Emma especially would like to thank you all for your ongoing support & to everyone who has sent messages, we love you all.
