The road ahead of us was blocked today... again we are sorry to our customers for us not being aware to let you know that you would have to reverse back up the road and exit via the medical centre....

We know how tricky it is getting to get to us. NO, WE ARE NOT CLOSED (even though it looks that way!

As we are not being compensated for any loss of business from the Council's Harbour Arbour project we are trying to pull every rabbit out of the hat right now and have just jumped onboard with Uber Eats.

So you can order online through Uber and have your coffees delivered to your door!

We have tried to juggle our hours through this project as we need to and now have to make another drastic change to them. From today we will now be closing at 1pm Monday to Friday and then closing Saturdays at 11am.

Thank you to all the small businesses sharing our posts and telling your friends about the predicament we are in. We appreciate your support more than you know 🫶

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. So here we are making lemonade every way we can think of for now!!

This is one of my fav pics of our beautiful furbaby Zuri who was nearly ten years old.

Our shop will be shut for the remainder for the day while we spend time as a family and grieve our terrible and sudden loss.

We are sorry for any inconvenience, I did try and open the shop this morning but emotions are running high and my human babies need me this weekend.

This week especially, we have felt the love!

We have had old friends, new friends, local businesses and even businesses not in our town seeing the impact the roadworks is having on our small family run business and they have shared words of wisdom, told their friends and colleagues, made purchases, made pre-orders, ordered coffee cans for later days, made plans to bring their clientele back to us to support us and just popped their head in to tell us they see us.

We are so humbled by the Gladstone community. This is not forever, this is just a brief moment (or 12) in time and we will be highly accessible again in the near future as the Harbour Arbour works progress a little more each day.

9 weeks down now! Woohoo!! We are here not just for a good time but a long time too!

Have a wonderful weekend and another reminder that tomorrow we will be open 6am-10am only for the electrical team to do their thing as part of the project.
