🍊 A customer asked today, “Will your prices increase with the changes to card surcharges?” They said we should share our answer!

The answer is no.

We’ve never charged card surcharges at the counter, and we don’t add weekend or public holiday surcharges. We’ll continue working hard to keep our prices affordable while using quality local ingredients—so Gayndah’s Big Orange can remain part of your everyday routine, not just a special occasion.

Hosting MAGIC Seafood Direct Bundaberg again this Saturday.

Bundaberg BANANA PRAWNS
Owner + operator of Bundaberg Trawler the MAGIC will be at Gayndah's Big Orange this coming Saturday 12th September between 10am and 2pm.
Will have available Local Ocean Caught Banana Prawns.
Cooked + frozen at sea aboard our Trawler Magic in convenient 3kg boxes (quick frozen to lock in freshness).
Will have available
Cooked 21/30 banana prawns (good size)@$55 per 3kg box.
Raw 15/25 banana prawns (larger size than cooked)@$55 per 3kg box.
All prawns are frozen + in 3kg boxes (shatter packs) prawns separate very easy.

Best way to thaw prawns is in a salt water brine ( about 1 heaped tablespoon of salt per litre of water (more or less to taste) for that just caught taste 😉 or thaw overnight in refrigerator to eat the next day.

Please bring your Esky or Freezer bags to carry frozen boxes home in.

People of Gayndah, we need your collective memories! 🍊

Local history suggests I was created in 1977, which would make me 49 years old. However, we’ve found a newspaper article dated 29 January 1981 stating that I was officially opened in 1981.

Could both dates be correct? Perhaps I was built in 1977 but officially opened a few years later?
