Thank you councillor Ava Adams for your participation with the Care Pack giveaway event today. Master Poultry Group & Pho House Flemington are honoured to have such great support for the community 🥰

In collaboration with Master Poultry Group, this afternoon, Pho House in Flemington generously distributed food boxes to those in need within our Vietnamese community. I was honoured to be invited to help alongside my fellow councillors, Cr John Sipek (Rosehill Ward) and Cr Katrina Hodgson (Myrnong Ward).

This year has been tough on our locals and it’s so heartwarming to see businesses work together to share these acts of kindness.

Our Moonee Valley community spirit is wonderful. If you know of other great initiatives in our community, please get in touch.

Major changes are coming. JobKeeper payments and JobSeeker payments have been reduced and many people will not be able to afford bare essentials. As a community we’ll do all we can to help and make sure those who are most vulnerable won’t be forgotten.

In order to assist we will be running a Charity Drive - Care Packs for Melburnians sponsored by Master Poultry Group.

Starting each Saturday 3.30pm to 4.30pm from 21st of November 2020 until 29th of December 2020.

Care pack hand outs:
1.5-2KG of Fresh (half-frozen) chicken along with other essential items such as rice, soy sauce, instant noodles, milk, juice, toilet papers and protein bars.

First come first serve basis, please make sure you abide by social distancing rules, wear a mask etc...

We hope to reach out to more people who need some extra support. So, if you know of anyone that this might be of help to, please direct them to us this Saturday (21/11) from 3.30pm at Pho House 318 Racecourse Road Flemington 3031. (03) 9372 1426 www.phohouse.com.au
