The Workers Club, one of Australia’s premier live music venues, is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and outgoing Venue Manager to join our team in the heart of Fitzroy!

You will be responsible for the overall operations, profitability and guest experience at our establishment. The role is crucial to maintaining our reputation as a leading hospitality destination and ensuring our team delivers the exceptional service we’re renowned for. If you love live music or ever wanted to be a part of the music scene, this gig’s for you.

About YOU-

⭐️ Proven experience as a Venue Manager or similar hospitality management role, preferably in a busy bar, restaurant or entertainment venue

⭐️ Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, point-of-sale systems

⭐️ Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate, mentor and develop staff

⭐️ Demonstrated financial acumen including budget management and cost/wastage control

⭐️ Thorough understanding of licensing laws, health and safety regulations and responsible service of alcohol obligations

⭐️ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with staff, guests and bands

⭐️ Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

⭐️ Overseeing beer and gas system maintenance
