Last Thursday we celebrated the launch of Makers Series No.02 Carnation Canteen with our friends at the Lab.

The star of the night was the dessert we’ve made with Carnation Canteen, a Cherry Custard Pie with Galotyri Gelato.

We also served on theme drinks, including a Cherry Americano courtesy of Bar Carnation, and a variation of Carnation Canteen’s Galotyri and Winter Tapenade on Toast, in celebration of the ingredients that underlie this collaboration.

Thank you to our community for turning out.

Our Cherry and Custard Pie with Galotyri Gelato is available dine in at Pidapipó (Fitzroy Laboratorio and Windsor) and takeaway from all Pidapipó stores and Uber Eats until 16 July.

Quince stewed into marmalade for our Ricotta, Quince Marmalade & Almond Croccante.

Fresh pears steamed in the oven to make Pear Cream, Caramel Swirl & Hazelnut Meringue.

Milk chocolate whisked into ganache and used to coat pretzels for Dulche de Leche, Milk Chocolate Ganache & Chocolate-covered Pretzels.

To celebrate, we’re giving both away for FREE from 5-7pm, Thursday 21 May at Pidapipó Laboratorio, Fitzroy.
