UNDERWATER CERAMIC TECHNICIAN
(DISHWASHER)

Location: Sandy Hook Tavern

Shifts: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (casual / Evening)

Sandy Hook Tavern is seeking a reliable, high-energy Junior Underwater Ceramic Technician (Dishwasher) to join our kitchen crew for the evening rush. If you work well in a team and want to keep our back-of-house operations running smoothly, we want to hear from you!

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Operate the wash station: Wash, rinse, and sanitise dishes, glassware, cutlery, and cookware efficiently.

• Maintain organisation: Safely stack and return clean items to their proper storage areas.

• Kitchen safety: Keep the dish area clean, safe, and free of clutter.

• Team support: Assist kitchen staff with basic cleanup or trash removal at the end of the shift.

⚡ Requirements & Skills

• Availability: Must be able to consistently work the 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM evening shift.

• Pace: Ability to work quickly and efficiently during busy dinner hours.

• Physical stamina: Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting heavy trays of dishes.

• Team player: A positive attitude and strong reliability are essential. No prior experience is required for this junior role—we will train the right person!

We are looking for a hands-on Bar & Restaurant Shift Supervisor to lead our team during assigned shifts across front-of-house, bar, and dining operations.

Role Overview

• Position Type: Permanent
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week
• Operations: Front-of-House (FOH), Bar, and Dining
• Leadership Style: Hands-on, supportive, and guest-focused

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional, welcoming service and resolve any guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Operations Oversight: Manage daily front-of-house, dining room, and bar floor activities during your assigned shifts.
• Team Support: Guide, mentor, and support team members to maintain high performance and smooth workflow.
• Standards & Safety: Maintain strict service, hygiene, compliance, and workplace safety standards at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory or senior hospitality role ideal.
• Must hold a valid/approved Manager’s Card.
• Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Hands-on approach with a passion for delivering great customer experiences.
