We are looking for a new junior to join the Bread Local team! The role will include front of house and back of house duties - from serving customers to helping our busy production team prepare food and keep our bakery clean and organised.

Availability on Saturday is a must and capacity to take additional shifts over school holiday and long weekend periods when Bread Local is busy!!

We are looking for someone who naturally enjoys talking to people and making them feel welcomed, and as an interest in exploring a career in the bakery industry.

This October we’re are welcoming Hannah Johnson from Masterchef into the Bread Local bakery for a month long collab featuring three of the dishes that were inspired by her time on the show.

We’re looking for a talented baker or pastry chef to join the Bread Local team!

Bread Local is an artisan bakery located in Esperance, WA. We produce a diverse range of handcrafted sourdough breads, pastries and food, with a focus on quality, creativity and creating an exceptional and unique experience that brings to joy to our customers.

This is a varied bakery production role and would suit someone who loves the diversity of working across both bread and pastry stations. You’ll be part of a busy, skilled production team working with everything from artisan bread and laminated pastry, through to cakes, tarts, fillings and savoury pastry.

The role requires strong technical baking skills, attention to detail and the ability to understand how variables such as fermentation, temperature, timing and production processes affect the finished product.
