Federici Bistro

Federici Melbourne is a popular cafe/bistro with a great menu and serving Dukes coffee. Overlooking No bookings, walk-ins welcome.

Federici is located at the Princess Theatre in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. The venue is filled with natural light and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. As part of the Princess Theatre, Federici is open from 90 minutes prior to each scheduled performance and offers a range of ‘Spuntini’ (small plate food options) with local wines, beers and cocktails. Drop in for a quick bite or drink before the show or at Interval.

We are delighted to let you know that we have re-opened Federici Bistro. We are currently open as a bar only, for one hour before all performances at the Princess Theatre, and again at interval. The dining menu is not currently available. We will keep you posted with any further updates and hope to see you for a drink soon.

A note from Federici…

Federici at the Princess Theatre has decided to close its doors for the time being, in line with the latest Government advice. We thank our staff and our customers for making Federici what it is. Making this decision now gives us the best opportunity of re-opening as soon as this storm has passed. Please know that we are thinking of you during this difficult time and look forward to welcoming you back to Federici again soon 💛

Who knew would look so good in Lego?!

The detail in this magical replica of the Princess Theatre is astonishing. If you look closely, you'll even spot some theatre-goers enjoying a pre-show drink at Federici!

Currently on display at the City of Melbourne Visitor Hub at the Town Hall, this build is by the very talented Alexander Cooke.
