Massive thank you to our good friend Mick at Mick's Custom Cuts for creating this custom board for us. It looks amazing and the quality is incredible! 👌

If anyone is looking for a great gift idea, something memorable for the house or shed, we highly recommend getting in touch with Mick or visiting him at The Effect Apparel on Murray Street, just a couple of shops up the road from us.

We highly recommend checking out what Mick has to offer. Shopping local is so important to small businesses, and we love supporting other local businesses in our community. 🫶

We have some new artwork on display from our close friend and increidbly talented local artist Meg Kaine.

Meg has provided us with the following:

A little piece of Devonport 💙

Recently, our community chose two new natural symbols to represent Devonport — the Native White-flag Iris as our floral emblem and the Superb Fairy-wren as our fauna emblem.

What I love most about the story behind them is how involved our young people were. The project was led by Don College Community Services students, while local schools contributed 794 of the 1,656 votes cast, giving our kids a real voice in choosing the symbols that represent the place they call home.

So naturally, I had to put the two together with paint. 🖤

Now all framed up and officially rehomed, this little piece represents Devonport's landscape, community and the next generation who helped choose its identity.💙

This painting is available for purchase. Please message us for further details.
