This is our new model. We’ve survived up to now, like so many other organisations and venues in independent music through a combination of bar sales, occasional grants and the extraordinary generosity from a small handful of donors.

A quick heads up that we’ve just put the second instalment of Lazy Thoughts up on the website.

This one is mostly numbers. What it costs to run the venue. How the membership program is tracking. How we engage artists at the venue. Why we lose money on most shows, why we do it anyway, how we do it, and an update on our charity. That sort of jazz.

PS – Remember, remember to become a member. Or donate. Or both. We’re trying to build something new. It’s really hard but really rad, so, you know, help us out.
