The last strawberry goes on by hand. 🍓

Brioche, caramelised banana, chocolate drizzle, a scoop of vanilla — and then someone stands there placing fruit one piece at a time until it looks right.

Nobody would notice if they didn't. That's rather the point.

Built, not plated. 🍯

Crisp toasted sourdough, pickles and slaw, then the chicken goes on top and the berry relish goes over the lot — slowly, so it runs down the sides properly.

The kitchen does this one by hand every time. You can tell.

Eggs, bacon, pork sausage, hash brown, grilled tomato, mushrooms, beans & sourdough. The proper feed.
🍔 **DAD'S LOADED BREAKFAST BURGER**
Bacon, fried egg, hash brown, cheese, BBQ sauce & aioli on a brioche bun.

Green, then poured. 🍵

A matcha latte with the heart floated on top, an iced matcha over strawberry, and a flat white getting its art done properly — not stirred in, poured in.

If you've only ever ordered the one thing here, the green side of the menu is worth a look.

Twelve seconds, one Big Breakfast. 🔥

Flames up, eggs into the pan, folded while they're still soft. Then bacon, mushrooms, a grilled tomato, hash brown and beans on the side.

This is 6:30am, before most of Doreen is awake. It happens about forty times before lunch.

Eight seconds, start to finish. ☕

Fresh grind into the basket, tamped, locked in. Milk stretched properly — not boiled, not flat. Then poured slow enough to float the art on top.

That's every single cup. Not the ones we film, all of them.

Thick-cut haloumi, grilled till it's got proper char on it, with caramelised relish, crisp iceberg and red onion in a soft sesame bun. Salty, sweet, squeaky — the good kind of squeaky.

No meat required and nobody misses it. Bring whoever's still asleep on the couch.

Saturday morning, no alarm, no rush. 🍳

Our breakfast wrap — scrambled egg, greens and herbs folded into a warm tortilla, with a hash brown on the side because a Saturday earns a hash brown.

Easy to eat, easy to sit with, and it goes down beautifully with a flat white while you do absolutely nothing for an hour.

Friday deserves better than a plain ham and cheese. 🔥

Crispy chicken, melted cheddar, kimchi and a spicy slaw, pressed between thick toast until the cheese gives up. It's tangy, it's got a bit of heat, and it's genuinely the most interesting thing on the toastie board.
