THE TAKEAWAY WILL BE OPEN THIS SATURDAY FOR BUSINESS!!! Legal issues have slowed the change of hands. It will be sorted by the end of next week, so in the meantime, I'll crawl out of retirement, drink this beer to all hard working lawyers, and see you all tomorrow. It is with much regret/excitement that Bel and I say goodbye. We will be closing this Sunday 3pm. Yes, Bels looking forward to retirement and chasing the chooks round the paddock. I'm looking forward to losing the 40kg the shops kindly donated over the last 6 years.

The shop will reopen on Wednesday under the ownership of locals Brett and Sarah. It is remaining a takeaway, but there is some new and exciting ideas on the way. They are a sensational couple and we wish them all the very best.

To our customers, thank you for your support. There are some truly beautiful people in Dodges Ferry. We have watched a few groups of kids leave Primary, go on to high school and are now working/doing apprenticeships. Memories we will never forget.

Thanks again to you one and all.

It's been a while good people. Our shops been looking a little empty of late due to a potential sale falling through. Yes, one again we have fallen victim to absolute time wasters.

I'm a tool! yes if you earn it, you have to wear it. During last night's Deliveries, I managed to get poor old Penny wedged on a shrub, on the edge of a ditch in someone's drive way. Not my proudest moment. Enter the Fitzgerald family. A lovely couple, with daughter who was self isolating after a mainland trip, tried to push me clear, but the task needed even more muscle. Across the road was a fire pit and some good Samaritan who, put down their beverages to come to the aid of the stuck fool with the pretty fish on the side of his car and pushed it to safety. Thank you to you all. But of course now I was half an hour late with my next delivery. A great bloke by the name of Chris. Now I figured I'd earnt a spray. Instead all I got was understanding and the comment, "she's right mate. Small business is a tough gig." Great Dodges Ferry/Carlton people one and all.

So if you'd like to chance an idiot pulling up in your drive way, in a car well past it's used by date. Deliveries are just $5 to Dodges Ferry/Carlton/ Lewisham

Thought I'd try out my sales skills. Just a little rusty. Please buy this stuff. In my opinion it is BLOODY awful. Don't know what cats p*e tastes like, but I'd imagine it to be something like this.
