‘Twas our last Sunday lunch service before we close for July and August.

Starter plates were filled with Irish soda bread, warmed goat’s cheese, chicken terrine, meats, pickled vegetables and beetroot relish, with produce from Lagom Farm.

Thank you to all of our amazing staff and the friends who jumped in when needed. And a huge thank you to all of our wonderful customers for spending their Sundays with us.

I’ll be taking you all on a food journey with me in July.

Celebrated my birthday in Melbourne, eating so much food and hanging with family …. I’ve been a bit slack with emails etc but will get back to it all in the morning.
Light snacks at Ellios place, dinner at Roma, breaky at market Fitzroy , lunch at gimlet , pastry from Lune, dinner at bar Lourinha . And the footy but we’re not talking about it.
Never be afraid to dine solo, I love it. And so many great venues out there that have amazing staff, make new friends 💚☘️🌱

This is my new friend Wallas. Wallas hosts the Great Golfing Road Trips podcast. He contacted me a while ago, did a bit of research, and wanted to sit down with me and share part of my story.

Thank you so much, Wallas. I actually really enjoyed it. Most of the time I can’t bear listening to my own voice, but this was a great chat, and Wallas is a beautiful human to be around.

My favourite part was talking about mentors. I shared a bit about my rough time at school, but also about the one teacher who was always in my corner. His classroom was a living, learning space where you felt safe and your thoughts were always listened to.

The funny thing was, as I was talking about him, he was actually coming in for dinner that night. We invited him to join us, and he ended up being on the podcast too.

We all need beautiful people in our lives who care, who share, and who are kind. 💚

👨‍🍳 Junior Chefs – Wednesday 5:30pm LIVE via Instagram 💚

This week’s recipe is all about using what’s already in your fridge! If you have items that need to be used.

No need to buy lots of ingredients – we’re making a simple dough using self-raising flour and water, then adding whatever tasty extras you have on hand.

EQUIPMENT
• Mixing bowl
• Spoon or spatula
• Knife
• Chopping board
• Baking tray or deep oven-safe frying pan/skillet
• Grater (if grating your own cheese)

💚 No stress if you don’t have everything. Swap ingredients, leave things out and get creative with what you’ve got!

Have your ingredients and equipment ready before we go live at 5:30pm Wednesday on Instagram.

Adult supervision required for chopping and oven use. ☘️💯🌱💚🍽️
