Unfortunately, this guy reached over our counter tonight and took another customer's food without paying while our staff were distracted.

We are a small local business, and incidents like this have become increasingly common. Every loss impacts us.

Please do the right thing and pay for what you take. We appreciate the support of the vast majority of customers who are honest and respectful.

We have identified that this evening a female customer paid for 4 bags of prawn crackers but took additional bags without payment.

This is not the first time this has occurred as the same person, and on previous occasions our staff were misled.

Please be advised that the incident has been clearly recorded on our CCTV, and we have video evidence.

We request that the individual return to the store and settle the outstanding payment before 8:30 PM tonight. If this matter is resolved promptly, no further action will be taken.

Otherwise, we will proceed with reporting the matter to the police and may release the footage.
