Dalby Hotel is searching for a motivated and reliable Kitchen Hand or Cook to join our friendly kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working in a fast-paced environment and is keen to grow their skills and build a long-term career in hospitality.
About the Role
We're open to applications from:
✅ Kitchen Hands who are eager to develop their skills and move into cooking responsibilities.
✅ Experienced Cooks who have practical kitchen experience but have not yet completed a formal trade qualification.
Working alongside our experienced chefs, you'll gain hands-on experience preparing quality meals while contributing to a busy and professional kitchen.
What You'll Be Doing
• Assisting with food preparation and service
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
• Following food safety and hygiene standards
• Supporting chefs during busy service periods
• Preparing and cooking menu items (for experienced Cook applicants)
• Working as part of a team to deliver great dining experiences
What We're Looking For
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and punctual
• Team player with a willingness to learn
• Previous kitchen experience highly regarded
• Passion for hospitality and food
