Rod Bax is one of South Australia's most respected landscape artists, known for his evocative paintings of the wetlands, waterways, and birdlife of the state's southeast.

For more than 30 years, Rod has exhibited professionally while also contributing significantly to arts education throughout South Australia. His work reflects a deep appreciation for the natural world and a commitment to capturing the beauty and fragility of these unique environments.

Whether working in watercolour, gouache, or mixed media, Rod creates paintings that draw viewers into quiet moments of reflection and observation.

His works can be found in significant public, corporate, and private collections throughout Australia and overseas, and we are delighted to feature his work at Atelier Crafers.
