🐄🤎 WOW… 4 WEEKS ALREADY!! 🤎🐄
Tomorrow marks 4 weeks since we opened the doors of the Cowwarr Hotel! 🍻🐮
And WOW… what a ride it’s been!!
It’s been chaos, madness, laughter, a few tears and at times like a herd of wild Friesians let loose in the cattle yards, all running in different directions and not one of them knowing where the bloody gate is! 😂🐄
But somehow, amongst all the madness, we’re finding our feet!
We want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank each and EVERY one of you who has walked through our doors, shared our posts, spread the word, offered encouragement or simply shown us your support. You have no idea how much it means to us. ❤️
We also want to genuinely apologise to anyone who may have been disappointed or disheartened along the way. Reopening the doors of this beautiful old pub has certainly come with its challenges, and we’ve had our fair share of teething problems. We’re learning, adjusting and improving every single day.

You’ve been thrown into the deep end, sometimes without a life jacket, and somehow managed to keep swimming! The long hours, the pressure, the constant changes and the absolute madness haven’t gone unnoticed. We couldn’t do this without you.
Four weeks ago, we opened the doors with a dream, a vision and a whole lot of determination. We knew it wasn’t going to be easy, but we probably didn’t realise just how wild this herd was going to get! 😂
We’re not perfect, we don’t pretend to be, and we’re certainly still learning. But one thing we can promise is that our hearts are in the right place, and we’re giving this everything we’ve got.
Our goal has always been more than just reopening a pub. It’s about bringing life back into our little town, creating somewhere people can gather, share a meal, have a laugh, catch up with old mates and make new memories.
And seeing the Cowwarr Hotel full of people again makes every crazy moment worthwhile. ❤️
So here’s to our first four weeks, the lessons learnt, the friendships made, the challenges overcome and all the exciting things still to come!
We’re still rounding up the herd, still figuring out which gate to open… but we’re getting there! 🐄😂
