We are looking for a hardworking individual to join our kitchen team.

We open from 6am - 12pm (midday), meaning that only morning availability is required.

We have a busy 100-seat cafe on the foreshore in Coolangatta, so previous experience in a fast paced kitchen environment would be advantageous.

Your role includes washing dishes, kitchen clean-up, and assisting chefs with food preparation.

📣 NOW HIRING JUNIORS

We are seeking two new juniors (school aged) to join our team on the foreshore at Coolangatta.

Our cafe is a long established family business, with a supportive crew of senior staff.

Therefore experience is not required, as we can teach you everything you need to know to enter the hospitality industry.

We do not require you to be available for every weekend day / public holiday / school holiday, as we are supportive of a work-life balance, for example alongside your studies, other leisure commitments and family life.

The following qualities are ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL:

- Confidence to work with adult staff and engage with customers
- Friendly and genuinely warm personality
- Common sense and initiative
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude, coupled with the ability to move very quickly in fast paced environments
- Desire to learn, and continue to develop new skills and into more advanced roles within the team
- Commitment to being available for one weekend day each week, and some extra days during school holidays

📣 WE ARE HIRING WAITSTAFF

We are seeking an experienced front of house team member to join our cafe on the foreshore in Coolangatta.

If you’re looking for a sea change, then perhaps Bellakai is the place for you!

We are supportive of a work-life balance, for example alongside studies and other leisure commitments.

We can provide one weekend day off every week, alongside security of permanent employment, including set shifts, 5 weeks paid annual leave and sick leave.

At this time, we are looking for -

1 person to work 4-5 shifts per week, or
we will consider 2 people to work 2-3 shifts each per week.

If you:

• Genuinely care about providing attentive customer service in a hospitality environment,
• Have experience working quickly and efficiently,
• Can carry 3 plates
