Police are continuing search efforts in Waratah focusing on the Philosophers Falls area where missing Belgian woman, Celine Cremer’s vehicle was located on Monday.

Further information was received yesterday indicates Ms Cremer’s vehicle was observed in the falls car park as early as 20 June 2023.

Information indicates that Ms Cremer was equipped for a light walk.

Weather conditions have been extremely cold with snow fall in the area over last weekend and light snow falling on searchers yesterday, with a bushwalkers weather alert in place for Tasmania.

Police continue to liaise directly with her family, and our thoughts are with them.

The Philosopher Falls walking track remains temporarily closed to the public whilst searching continues.

Anyone who has been in the Philosopher Falls carpark since 17 June is asked to contact police on 131 444 to advise whether they saw Celine’s car in the area.

Have you seen Celine Cremer?

Celine is travelling in Tasmania, but has not been in contact with friends or family since Monday, 12 June and there are concerns for her welfare.

She is believed to be driving a white Honda CRV (registration ).

Celine was last seen in Hobart, and is believed to have been heading to the state’s west coast.
