The Bower Tavern We are open Monday-Saturday for lunch and dinner. We also offer Sunday morning breakfast and lunch.

The Bower started its life back in 1927 as an open-air movie picture theatre. Several small shops have come and gone along the way including a Hosiery Mill, Electrical shop and Jockas takeaway. The Bower has traded as a tavern since 1989 and has transitioned into the current Bower Tavern where it has become the meeting place for locals and holiday makers alike. ook ownership and are now the current custodians of the Tavern. Jamie and Vicki along with their daughters Chloe and Maddy are looking forward to being a part of the fantastic community that Cohuna and the Bower tavern has to offer in the next chapter of the taverns life.
