That’s it…

The coffee machine has poured its last coffee. The chairs are stacked. The lights are off. Café Julz has officially become a collection of memories.

When we first opened our doors, we never imagined the incredible journey that lay ahead. What started as a café became so much more. It became a place where friendships were made, families gathered, ideas were born, and thousands upon thousands of coffees somehow managed to solve the world’s problems.

To every amazing team member who has worn a Café Julz apron over the years—thank you. Every one of you brought something unique to this place. Thank you for your hard work, your loyalty, your passion, your patience, your laughs, the tears, the inside jokes, the organised chaos, and for caring as much as you did. Watching so many of you grow in confidence and move on to bigger things has been one of the greatest privileges.

To our community… thank you for making us feel like we belonged. You welcomed us into your lives, trusted us with your morning ritual, celebrated milestones with us, and kept coming back year after year. So many of you stopped being customers a long time ago—you became friends.

Businesses are often measured in dollars and cents. We won’t remember this place for that.

We’ll remember the people.

The smiles. The conversations. The familiar faces walking through the door every morning. The kids who grew up before our eyes. The hugs we shared. The tears we shed. And the overwhelming kindness you showed us right until the very end.

Thank you for allowing Café Julz to be a small part of your lives.

What an incredible ride it’s been.

Every cup of coffee, every conversation, every smile and every memory will stay with us forever.

Thank you for making Café Julz so much more than just a café.

As we get closer to our final day, we’d just like to remind everyone who has a Café Julz gift card that there are now only 2 days left to redeem it.

If you’ve been saving it for a special visit, now’s the time! We’d absolutely love to see you one last time, enjoy a coffee together, and make sure your gift card doesn’t go to waste.

Thank you again for all the love and support you’ve shown us over the years. It’s been an incredible journey, and we can’t wait to welcome as many of you as possible through our doors before we say goodbye. ❤️

After an incredibly difficult decision, it is with the heaviest of hearts that I share that Monday will be Café Julz’s final day of trade. 💔

I honestly never imagined I’d be writing these words.

From the day we opened our doors, my dream was never just to create a café. It was to create a place where people felt welcome, where strangers became friends, where birthdays were celebrated, business deals were done over coffee, little ones grew up coming in for babycinos, and familiar faces became part of our everyday lives.

To every single customer who chose us for your morning coffee, your family breakfasts, your catch-ups, your work meetings, or simply a smile to start your day… thank you.

Thank you for supporting a small local business. Thank you for your kindness, your loyalty, your patience, your conversations, and for allowing us to be a small part of your lives. You have given me memories that I will treasure forever.

To my incredible team… you have been the heart and soul of Café Julz. Watching you grow, laugh together, support one another and care for our customers as if they were your own has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. I couldn’t be prouder of every one of you.

This isn’t the ending I ever hoped for, and if I’m honest, I’m still trying to come to terms with it.

If you’ve ever thought about popping in for one more coffee, one more breakfast, or one last chat, we’d love to see you before we close our doors for the final time on Monday. It would mean the world to us.

⚠️ Important Notice – Thursday 23/7

Due to scheduled Energex works at a neighbouring building, our power will be disconnected from 8:00 AM.

☕ We’ll still be open for coffee from 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM, so if you need your morning caffeine fix, come and see us early!

Unfortunately, we’ll be closed from 8:00 AM onwards as we won’t have power to operate.

We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We’ll be back to normal trading as soon as power is restored.
