We are closing our Carrington shop.
But this is not the end — it’s just the beginning of some exciting new things ahead.
You can still get your fix of fresh oysters and our much-loved fish & chips every Sunday at Method Brewing, Islington, while we prepare to announce our next ventures.
We want to sincerely thank the Carrington community for your love and support, and to everyone across Newcastle and beyond who has backed us over the past three years. We truly couldn’t have done it without you.
Running a bricks-and-mortar business in today’s climate is incredibly tough. Rising costs of goods, skyrocketing rent, declining foot traffic, and challenging shared-space dynamics can take their toll. It’s a difficult chapter to close, but one we’re ready to move on from.
We’re excited, energised, and already working on some fun and exciting ideas for what’s next. Keep following our socials to stay up to date.
Thank you for giving us our start — our little “hole in the wall” (lol). We wish this chapter had ended on a softer note, but we’re grateful for every memory made along the way.
