Potager restaurant is located on our small 10 acre farm in the beautiful setting of Carool. We're all about giving people great food that is primarily locally sourced. We don't grow everything we serve but we serve everything that we grow. Wherever possible we serve organic produce and grass fed meats. We're about providing people with a relaxed dining experience and we strive to deliver excellent
service. Most importantly, we want people to enjoy themselves and have a great time. We're fully licensed and our doors are open Friday and Saturday for lunch and dinner and Sunday for lunch. Our values are at the core of everything we do, so we’d like to share them with you. We plan to give our guests a delightful experience
that allows them to take time out of their busy world. We learn from our mistakes. We constantly innovate and celebrate the recognition of our achievements. Community is at the heart of everything we do. From the businesses we support, to the friendships we’ve made with our customers. Teamwork is the reason for Potagers’ success. We hope that it shows in our food and service delivery. We delight in the provenance of the food on our menu. The art of storytelling creates meaningful connections with our customers. You will dine on tables made by local craftspeople and mostly on plates made by local potters. You’ll eat vegetables, fruit and herbs from our garden & from other local businesses and producers. You’ll eat mushrooms from just down the road in Urliup. Seafood from Northern Rivers Seafood or from Australian Bay Lobster in Chinderah. Meat from Byronshire. Or Fair Game Wild Caught Venison. Whether you choose a la carte, or our tasting menu, most of all you’ll be eating food made and served with love. From time to time, you may also be served by young people learning the art of hospitality. We’ve trained numerous kids from the hill and the wider community who have had their first job at Potager.
