💪🏻 You go girl🇩🇰❤️
The Danish royal court just announced that Her Royal Highness Princess Isabella of Denmark, the 18-year-old second in line to the throne, will begin her mandatory 11 months of military service at the Guard Hussar Regiment in Slagelse this coming August after her high school graduation from Øregård Gymnasium.
This means that the eldest daughter of King Frederik X and Queen Mary won't be attending the university right away after high school graduation as she will be taking a mandatory military service just like her older brother, Crown Prince Christian.
Under the new mandatory policy recently introduced, all teenagers in Denmark with permanent residency, regardless of gender, are required to undergo a longer, 11-month period of military service.
Princess Isabella is also expected to step into a more prominent role as a working royal as she is already 18 years old but that would depend on the availability of her schedule as she will be concentrating in her studies and military training.
