A Little Note From Us โค๏ธ
We just wanted to share a little insight into how things work behind the scenes at Captains Flat Hotel, particularly at the beginning of our week.
To make sure the food we serve is fresh, we intentionally run our stock down towards the end of the weekend. As a small country pub, weโre simply not busy enough to have staff in before Wednesday preparing and restocking everything, so Wednesday is our main prep and restocking day. This means that occasionally, particularly earlier on a Wednesday, some menu items may not be available.
The same goes for our drinks. Weโd love to have every beer, wine, spirit and mixer available all the time, but the reality is that carrying that amount of stock is expensive. Sometimes we have to make choices, and occasionally that means something may sell out before our next delivery.
We know it can be disappointing when your favourite meal or drink isnโt available, and we genuinely appreciate your understanding.
We work incredibly hard to keep our little pub going, provide fresh food, employ our wonderful team and keep the doors open for our community and visitors. Sometimes business simply isnโt busy enough for us to do everything exactly as weโd like โ but we will always do our very best.
