LAKEVIEW MOMENTS | After the rain 🌧️

We've certainly had some rain at Lakeview!

The creek flowing down from Mount Canobolas and into Lake Canobolas is absolutely rushing at the moment — so full it's almost spilling over its banks.

Everything around us is wet, green and very well watered... and the lake is certainly getting a top-up.

Meanwhile, life at Lakeview carries on.

The Highland cows are happily doing what cows do, and our pelican visitor has been back enjoying the lake again this week.

Just a few little moments from a very wet Lakeview.

And after all that rain, we're rather looking forward to seeing what spring brings. 🌱

LAKEVIEW MOMENTS | Just another week at Lakeview 🤎

There are always little moments happening around here.

Trev mows the grass... while the cows and bulls wait very patiently for him to finish so they can take care of the clippings. 😂

The sun goes down outside Emerald Gem, turning the view from the villa into something pretty special.

And down on Lake Canobolas, a group of pelicans has been making itself at home this week.

Nothing staged. Nothing organised.

Just everyday life at Lakeview — and some of the moments our guests get to share simply by being here.

Sometimes the best part of getting away is having nowhere else you need to be.

A special day yesterday - working in our sister business.

And that's a wrap on Fire Festival! 🔥🍷

What a fabulous few weeks we've had in Orange.

We've loved having Lakeview guests staying with us and heading out to enjoy some of the wonderful events that made up this year's Winter Fire Festival.

From fires and fabulous food to local wine, live music and some very chilly Orange nights — there was plenty to enjoy!

And one of the best parts of our Lakeview Fire Festival package? Leaving the car behind. Trev and I took care of getting our guests to and from their events, so they could simply relax and enjoy the evening.

A big thank you to our lovely guests who let us share a few of their Fire Festival moments.
