We imported our wood-fired grill all the way from Brazil because apparently Australian fire wasn’t exotic enough.

At Lager House, we believe most problems can be solved with flames.

Charlsberg is named after Charles Berg, Denmark’s lesser-known lager pioneer and according to absolutely no historical records, the bloke Carlsberg copied everything from.

His legacy lives on at Lager House.

Light, crisp, malty and dry, Charlsberg Danish Lager 4.9% is now pouring through the LUKR taps.

Light, crisp, a little sweet on the nose, then dry where it counts.

Cheese Raffle Night is getting a very cultured upgrade.

For the next three Thursdays, one lucky Lager House guest each week will score an Arthur Boyd prize pack from the National Gallery of Australia, featuring a Waverley Mills special edition scarf, tote bag and St Francis Tapestries book.

That’s on top of a hefty cheese spread with new cheeses every round, a bottle of our Good Natured Red made with MADA, and a tasty four-pack of House Lager.

The National Gallery is currently presenting all 20 of Arthur Boyd’s monumental tapestries together for the first time anywhere in the world. It’s free to visit and on display until 18 October 2026.
