Footscray’s Scott Wynd made his league debut 38 years ago today. Sunday 31st of July 1988, in the round 18 game against Brisbane at the Western Oval. Wynd only had 4 kicks and a single hit out, though within 4 years he would become a Brownlow and Charlie Sutton medalist, All Australian, then end up being the Footscray captain for 7 seasons and selected in the Bulldogs team of the century.
