On Monday after a most courageous and honest fight with cancer my beautiful and dearest friend Janet aka Jan Brady Sister Janet our Janny F***y left this life
Honestly F**k Cancer
Around 20 years in my close circle she truely was my unassuming loyalist most sensible keep me in line tell it how it is you got this (even though I doubted it) queen
Three of my best gal pals in 5 years gone sometimes I can’t breathe remembering these women who have helped shape me keep me balanced adored me for me who were truly life’s gifts
But this post is not about what I’ve lost it’s about Janet not my over the top always strong always had my back bestie that was Shoni not my gentle creative super cool (I really want to be you ) friend that was Kate Gane but my silently standing by my side through anything giving me honest advice even if I didn’t want to hear it black humour at its finest always telling me I’m incredible gal pal that was Janet
Sister Janet (Shoni gave her this nickname) gently quietly went through life overcoming struggles and challenges with minimum or no fuss enjoying a simple productive fun filled journey. She was the less materialistic person I knew. She worked super hard she loved to work and she loved her own space. She was completely comfortable with her own company or with those she loved
And like me and Shoni she loved her three children deeply and more recently her three grand babies a prouder nana I’ve yet to find.
As we held each others hand recently Janet looked at me and said I think this is it don’t cry we’ve been lucky to have had this friendship of course I agreed and of course I cried
Janet I told you but I want even it’s 1 person who reads this post or 100 to know I was blessed to have loved you

Yes we are obsessed with our cutie organic/biodynamic cafe and what she offers
Great nutritious delicious chow smooth creamy coffee and those happy sunny vibes always

I’m taking a metal health day however I’ve prepared three awesome hearty soups delicious protein packed beef and bean nachos and a huge range of housemade sweet treats plus toasties focaccia’s in organic sourdough also don’t forget smoothies matcha original strawberry or blueberry and the very best vegan chai
However the best part is my amazing team Pauline Tilda and Kailum highly skilled at delivering the goods and the sweetest happiest trio. I’m a very lucky gal
