Weekend Market Stall Assistant

We're looking for a friendly, reliable face to help run our market stalls over weekends.

What We're Looking For:
- Available Saturdays and/or Sundays, early starts (typically 7am-4pm)
- Great customer service skills - bubbly, chatty, and confident
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Physically fit - able to lift 15kg boxes and be on your feet
- Food handling experience preferred but not essential - training provided
- Own transport and valid driver's licence
- Must have or be willing to get food handling certificate

Bonus If You:
- Have market or retail experience
- Love biltong (we'll make you love it if you don't already!)
- Have experience with POS / EFTPOS systems

That’s a wrap AgFest 2026! Some highlights for us:
- meeting some of the farmers that grow the cattle our biltong is made from
- seeing people’s faces when trying our biltong for the first time (and LOVING it!)
- meeting lots of South Africans that we haven’t met before
- selling $1,000 worth of biltong to a biltong loving legend! Bevan now has a serious sale record to beat!
- making new friends and craving to live on a big green farm with all the animals we saw here

All in all, we loved it! If they allow us back in 2027, we will see you next year, hopefully with some biltong bagels and biltong bendicts to sell 😎
