It's official. So Knead will be opening in the next few months.

Cairns kept us flat out, sold us out more times than I can count... now it's Toowoomba's turn.

Guess we'll have to become Toowoomba's favourite too. 😉

Well... this is the post I've been putting off. ❤️

It's time to say goodbye to Cairns.

When I started So Knead, I never imagined what it would become. Over 3,000 of you followed along, my weekly specials started selling out, my inbox was constantly full, and this little home bakery became something so much bigger than I ever dreamed.

None of that happened because of me alone. It happened because of you.

Every order, every like, every share, every comment tagging a friend, every recommendation in a local Facebook group, every person who told someone "you have to try So Knead"... you built this business. The Cairns community gave me a chance, kept coming back, and supported me through every new recipe, every sell-out, every long day, and every crazy idea I wanted to bake.

I'll never forget that.

While I'm sad to be leaving, this isn't goodbye forever. So Knead will be reopening in Toowoomba, and I'll even be offering shipping so you'll still be able to get your favourite cookies, brownies, and cookie pies.

But no matter where So Knead goes next, Cairns will always be where this chapter was written. You'll always be the community that turned a dream into a real business.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I'll be forever grateful for every single one of you.

A little moving update 🥲📦

At this stage, I’ll be closing up So Knead in the next few weeks. I still don’t have an exact final date just yet, but I’ll keep you all updated as things get closer!

Weekly specials will start slowing down (ill still have a few just keep an eye on my stories), but don’t worry — you can still get your So Knead fix with fresh baked cookies, whole & half brownies and Dubai cups. 🤎
And the good news… once I’m back up and running in Toowoomba, I’ll be offering shipping! So you’ll still be able to get your favourite cookies, brownies and cookie pies delivered straight to you. 🥹🤎

So if you’ve been putting off that sweet craving… consider this your sign 😂

I’ve been absolutely flat out with pre-orders, but to be totally transparent, I’ve also been a little Alot) stressed with this whole moving situation. 😅

For those asking… I STILL don’t have an exact closing date yet, but it will be relatively soon, and you will all be the first to know.

One year ago I took a chance on a little idea, and I honestly had no idea what it would become.

Today, So Knead Bakehouse turns ONE. ❤️

This past year has been full of everything... the excitement, the nerves, the constant sold out weekends, the recipe wins, the recipe flops that never saw the light of day 😂, the ridiculously long days, the late nights, and the early mornings.

Some days have been hard, really hard. But not once have I regretted starting this business.

To every single person who has ordered, shared a post, recommended me to a friend, left a review, or simply followed along... thank you. Because of you, we've somehow grown to over 3,000 followers in just one year, and that's something I'll never take for granted.

Watching something I created become part of your birthdays, celebrations, gifts, and little "just because" moments has been the biggest privilege.

Thank you for believing in me, for supporting a small business, and for making this first year more successful than I ever imagined.

Here's to everything we've achieved so far... and to whatever comes next. I can't wait to keep baking for you all. ❤️🎂
