And just like that Big Trev’s Takeaway is done.

It’s time for us to now take a step backwards to move forwards.

We will look back with fond memories of the awesome times that we shared with our customers over the past 3 and a half years.

It has been a pleasure to cook for you albeit absolutely soaked in sweat and completely run off our feet at times.

The experience we have gained in the food industry has been invaluable and we will be back sooner or later in some way or another.

A massive thank you to all of you who supported our business in any way, shape or form.

Special shout out to Todd Macalpine and all the Panda Room crew for having the vision to turn a takeaway store by day into a kick-ass music venue by night, to all those who attended those gigs thank you very much, they really were something special and I’m sure you’d all agree.

Lastly a massive thank you to my wonderful wife Mia for doing all the background work and allowing me to do what I do best, cook yummy food and talk s**t, without her I 100% could not have done this.

I’m sure many of you will miss the shop but nobody will miss it more than me.

Hello world…..

We just had the guy from the take away up the road in the shop sussing out our food hahaha!!

I pretended I didn’t know but it was definitely him!!!

I made him the most delicious spicy chicken wrap, I can only imagine them there now trying to figure out our secret herbs and spices hahaha!

The war is alive and healthy….. who ever knew running a take away was gonna be this much fun!!!

Last Night Big Trev’s Souvlaki was voted the best Souvlaki in Cairns….
