Major Semi Results!

A Mixed Bag on the weekend, with A Grade going down to Suburbs in a tough and grinding match.
Our team was up for the fight, but a couple of key injuries just before half time allowing Suburbs to snag a couple of quick tries, jumping out to a lead that was too hard to drag back, with injuries in such a tight game.

Congrats to Southern Suburbs Rugby League Club Inc., and good Luck for the rest of you finals series.

Reserve Grade started out strong, fought out to a 22 - Nil lead in a very tough game, before a late surge with 10 mins to go by Innisfail lead to an close and dramatic finish, with the boys holding out for the win.

Reserve Grade have now booked their spot in the Grand Final on the 5th of September at Barlow Park, so stay tuned for more information!

Minor Semi Final Results!

A 50/50 Results for the weekend, with mistakes and discipline costing the 19's a chance to build momentum, allowing Ivanhoes to run away with the game in the second half.

Meanwhile A Grade turned up locked in and looking to get the win, and did just that.

This means A Grade moves onto the Major Semi Final next week with Reserve Grade, which will be played in Innisfail, times to follow.

We congratulate the 19's on their year, to over come the early season disruptions to make the finals is no mean feat!

As we enter the finals this week, we want to take a moment to thank our Men's Team Jersey Sponsors.

Without their support, our teams would not have the gear they need to take the field each week and proudly rep the Kangaroo's Colours.

As 2 of the 3 take the field this weekend in knockout finals,
(Reserve Grade has a week off for the top 2 finish )

We want to acknowledge all these sponsors, both new and returning, for all their support this year.

Thank you Sponsors, and we hope you come along on the ride as we look to follow the Women's example and add to our Premierships for this year!!
