As business owners, we’re constantly told to “take the high road” and “don’t bite back.”

Most of the time, that’s good advice.

But every now and then someone like Paul rolls into the comments section to critique a pizza they didn’t buy, didn’t eat, and weren’t invited to review.

Do I miss the mark sometimes? Absolutely. No business gets it right 100% of the time.

What I won’t do is pretend that carrying on like a keyboard food critic isn’t s**t behaviour.

Constructive criticism is one thing. Being rude for the sake of it is another.

Anyway Paul, I’d genuinely love to see you fire up an oven, stretch the dough, cook 100+ pizzas in a night and show us all how it’s done.

We’ll wait. 🍕

I can’t thank everyone enough for the constant messages, comments, and support. The encouragement you’ve shown us has been incredible. I’ve lived in many small communities over the years, and Moore Park Beach is truly one of a kind. We’re so grateful to be part of it. 💚

Here are the facts that I didn’t think I needed to provide:

•we spoke to council & were told that we could operate with only a food licence & insurance. We complied ✔️

•we obtained a temporary food licence & were granted this by the council. ✔️

•our trailer is currently in the process of getting an annual food licence so we operate on temporary ones. ✔️

•we don’t know which vendor complained to council & actually it doesn’t matter. We’re obviously on a different level to the person who complained & they tried to bring us down to theirs.

We’ll be back as soon as we can & hope to see you all again!

After a conversation with the Bundy Burger Company, we are of the understanding that they did not make the complaint so please don’t attack their business anymore & I will be removing comments that do tear down this business. I really appreciate everyone’s support however I do feel that we should turn this hurt & frustration into energy to keep pushing forward.
Business is about lifting people up, not tearing them down & I would hate to see this business lose their income like we have lost ours.

I’m writing this to let you all know that unfortunately we are unable to trade this weekend at the Moore Park Beach Caravan Park.
I’d like to thank the Park Managers for allowing us the opportunity to create something special together and for the community.
I apologise that due to another vendor in the vicinity of us complaining, we unfortunately cannot continue with the current arrangements. This is disappointing, not from a business side but from a community side.
We are extremely community focused & from where we stand, the people that have created this issue clearly do not have the MPB community in their focus because we do a lot more than just sell Pizza in our model.
We will be making other arrangements & this isn’t the end for us in Moore Park Beach.
I appreciate everyone’s ongoing support immensely.
