Mother’s Day from Cafe 1928 🌸☕

What a massive day! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for breakfast and lunch yesterday. It was such a pleasure to see so many families celebrating the wonderful Mums in our community.

We were absolutely blown away by the number of entries for our Mother’s Day Hamper. From everyone who enjoyed a quick coffee to those who brought the whole family in for a feast, the response was incredible! 🎟️✨

Café 1928 is looking for an experienced and reliable kitchen team member to join our busy café inside the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens

We’re looking for someone who enjoys cooking, can handle a fast-paced environment, and is flexible and willing to jump in wherever needed.

About the role:
• Food prep and service
• Platter and catering preparation
• Assisting across the café when required (dishes, till, occasional coffee making – not essential)

What we’re looking for:
• Previous kitchen experience is essential
• Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Flexible and willing to help across all areas

Shifts:
Sundays, Mondays & Tuesdays. Occasional Saturdays
School-friendly hours:
Weekdays 8:30AM–3PM | Weekends 8:30AM–4PM
