What’s a chef to do when he’s over the smoky grills, long hours, family drama, relationships, and life in general?

Kane Vincent took the advice of a Jason Isbell song to “find what makes you happy ...and do it till you’re gone,” picked up his old Maton, and got stuck into it.

Over the last seven years he’s lugged that guitar from pubs to parties and festivals, no longer singing in the kitchen but carving out a place on stage.

A loveable spirit, impressive song writing, and engaging vocals saw him take out the 2024 Country on Keppel Talent Search—a defining “I reckon I can do this” moment.

Now, Kane is hitting the road, taking his music far and wide to connect with audiences and share his stories wherever they’ll listen.

Keenly observant, Kane draws lyrical inspiration from both the mundane and the extraordinary.

His songs blend a folk/pop sensibility with a soulful edge, more than a hint of country, and a familiar nod to the blues.
